Greetings!
I am Patricia Toney, President of The Palmetto Pearls Foundation. The Palmetto Pearls Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to establish charitable programs that develop positive relationships and serve the needs of Pee Dee Communities. The Foundation was incorporated on June 4, 2019.
Our vision is “to become the legacy leader in transforming our communities through…SERVICE!” With service to others as the cornerstone of our organization, we continually work to:
- Provide scholarships to support and encourage both cultural and intellectual excellence in youths and adults,
- Sponsor uplifting community-based programs and initiatives around economic empowerment and civic engagement,
- Assist the physical and mental well-being of our aging community, and,
- Foster and empower stronger, more stable family relationships, along with many other charitable efforts.
The Palmetto Pearls Foundation has partnered with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Chi Omega Chapter and will continue to partner with other organizations to award college scholarships to deserving college bound students in the Pee Dee area.
Through our community involvement and fundraising initiatives, we can continue delivering charitable programs that develop positive relationships and meet the needs of the Pee Dee area.
